FLENK created a fun activity zine for the Over the fence exhibition at Granville Centre Art Gallery. The series of prompts are a way to engage with the exhibition either in gallery or at home.

Cumberland City Council and City of Parramatta are neighbouring local government areas in Western Sydney, with only an arbitrary border separating them. Granville Centre Art Gallery – which is in the Cumberland City Council area – partnered with Parramatta Artists’ Studios to celebrate:

• what a neighbourhood means

• what makes it special

• why we live where we do

• how we connect

Artists Marian Abboud, Heath Franco, Rebecca Gallo, Tarik Ahlip and Linda Brescia, Gillian Kayrooz, Venessa Possum, Kalanjay Dhir and participants of the Youth Mentoring Program have created new works that explore their own neighbourhoods and communities, shining a light on why Western Sydney is so special.
